Funding Boost for Schools and Colleges
The Welsh Assembly Government has announced a Wales wide investment of over £108.9m to be spent on 40 schools and colleges over the next three years.
Gower AM Labour Edwina Hart said:
"We are committed to ensuring that all school buildings are fit for purpose and provide a good environment for our children and for those who work in our schools."
32 Capital projects have been approved in the first tranche of transitional capital investment monies totalling £78.7m with the Assembly Government supporting £30.2m for a further 8 further education projects over the course of the next three years. The investment will impact across the whole range of education provision from early years/flying start through to primary and secondary and SEN provision.
