Gower AM Salutes GCSE Results

Gower Labour AM Edwina Hart today (Thursday 21 August) added her congratulations to students in Gower on their GCSE successes. The 2008 GCSE results for Wales showed that 65% of all students achieved Grades A* to C, compared with 63% last year. The percentage achieving A* was 6.1% compared with 6.3% last year, with 18.9% achieving A or A* compared with 18.6% in 2007.

Mrs. Hart said:

“I am delighted on behalf of pupils in Gower that their hard work has paid off and I offer them all my congratulations. I also think it would be remiss of me if I did not include the teachers in my congratulations for all their hard work and the support they have provided to their students.”
