‘A’ Great Result

Gower Labour AM, Edwina Hart, has added her congratulations to students and teachers in Gower and across the City and County of Swansea following the excellent ‘A’ Level results announced today (Thursday 14 August).

The overall pass rates for students in Wales are 97.6% for ‘A’ Levels and 88.5% for AS Level.

Edwina Hart AM said:

“I congratulate the students and applaud their dedication and commitment. I am delighted that all their hard work has paid off. Both they and their teachers can be justly proud of their achievements."

“I was also pleased to note that the number of students entering and completing the Welsh Baccalaureate qualification continues to increase. I am sure that the students will continue to build on their successes and I wish them well for the future.”
